iOS 5 upgrade introducing many new features, iMessage is one of them. iMessage was one of cool features introduced in iOS 5 at WorldWide Developer Conference 2011.

What is iMessage?
iMessage is a service that capable of sharing text messages and files with intriguing new features like the ability to show delivery receipts, read receipts and indicate when another person is typing. With iMessage user can send unlimited text, images, videos, contacts messages via Wi-Fi or 3G from your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch to anyone with one of those devices. iMessage is built into the Messages app.

How iMessage Work
iMessage will required 3G or Wi-Fi connection, all conversations will be synced across iOS devices. Shortly, iMessage Is Like BBM for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch.

It will push messages across all Apple devices using Apple�s new notifications system. Group messaging will also be supported.

iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch 3rd generation, iPod touch 4th generation, iPad, iPad 2.
