Pocket Legends Download

What Is Pocket Legends?

Pocket Legends is a Massive Multiplayer Online game that allows you to choose your character, pursue quests, upgrade your stats, and discover the Pocket Legends world with thousands of other players online! This means when you play this game, youll be connecting with other Android and iPhone users around the world (yes, this game is cross-platform). If your familiar with MMORPG games like World of Warcraft, this game should be easy to pick up. For those of you new to hobby, Pocket Legends consists of battles, quests, exploration, and customization. Next, choose your class of character. The game drops you into a entry-level dungeon to give you a tutorial on how to use Pocket Legends. As you move on throughout the game, youve develop your character by adding new skills, increase skill points, customizing your character with armor and weapons and so much more.

Pocket Legends

As with most RPG games, there are plenty of different spells, appropriate to the different classes. It would be cool if, as you progressed through quests, you arrived at different towns of the game to chat with other players at your level. Understandably, Pocket Legends was designed to be played in short bursts of time, but I feel this has somewhat lessened the desire to keep returning to the game to prepare for the next epic quest. Pocket Legends is a true MMORPG that is light on story, but strong on gameplay and fast instance-based quests. If youre new to RPGs, or have friends that play games like WoW and are wondering what the big deal is, definitely give Pocket Legends a try. If you are an experienced RPG player, you wont be disappointed. The game's camera can be zoomed and rotated by on-screen swipes and gestures, and the characters are controlled via a virtual analogue stick. Pocket Legends is free to download, but the game plays like a Lite with in-app purchase level packs. The free portion allows you to reach level 13 for free but then you need to buy additional level packs to continue earning experience points.

Pocket Legends iPad

With regard to Pocket Legends' gameplay, it is wondrous that the iPhone can produce a comparable level of character progression and skill usage that traditionally only a PC game could evoke. The instanced gameplay actually assists this whole process, as players are constantly joining your games almost as soon as they are created. This is thanks to the easy-to-identify game list that is presented to players as soon as they enter the game (though I did have slight difficulty getting people to join a DLC game). For some, however, the demand of paid level packs every 5-10 levels may simply be too much. There are innumerable hours to pour into this game, with the current level cap of 25 requiring whole days of gameplay to reach. Pocket Legends plays on 2nd generation devices and up, and has a separate, High Definition iPad version available.

Pocket Legends is a simple freemium RPG featuring zombie-infested dungeons, 3D graphics, and general RPG goodness. If you like RPGs, you owe it to yourself to try Pocket Legends.

While the App Store isnt lacking in puzzles or racing games, one genre is still largely populated by Mafia games and similar spin-offsonline role-playing games. However, Pocket Legends is a new RPG that finally gives us a great online loot-fest, complete with 3D graphics, dungeons, zombies, and different character classes and skill trees. Its not nearly as complex as a PC title dont expect World of Warcraft but Pocket Legends is a perfect fit for the iPhone. Character Creation!

There are three character classes: Archer, Warrior, and Enchantress. How the Game Works
Instead of an open world, Pocket Legends consists of one sparse camp and a series of levels dungeons that are populated with evil zombies and the like. Youre instantly transported between levels, and you can jump into your own new dungeon or join other adventurers by clicking the New Game button.

The game uses auto-targeting, so once youre locked onto an enemy, the aiming is done for you. As your character levels up, you also learn skills, which appear on-screen as buttons that can be activated. Pocket Legends currently has two open servers. Pocket Legends runs on the entire iDevice family iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad and works on 3G, EDGE, and WiFi. One caveat you should be aware of is that Pocket Legends is a freemium game. Though the initial taste is great, without buying extra level packs you wont be able to go beyond level 13. The freemium element doesnt upset the games balance whatsoever.

Pocket Legends is really an impressive game. Pocket Legends says yes - as long as you're happy to redefine what you mean by "MMO". It's a cheery little online-only dungeon-crawler, best played in groups, with levelling and looting and trading and endless tap-tap-tapping (hence the Claw).

Pocket Legends Front

You've a choice of three character classes. Unfortunately, repetition is in Pocket Legends' bones. Since Pocket Legends was released back at the iPad launch, Spacetime Studios has continued to reward players with incredible post-launch support. Questing is an essential element to any RPG, and Pocket Legends has finally added this in its latest "Adventure" update. Here you'll take on quests in the first three instance packs available in the game. Pocket Legends has also recently added player vs player combat. Platinum is bought in bulk, much like the system Ngmoco has adopted for their various games. Pocket Legends isnt an MMO in the traditional open-world sense. You navigate from dungeon to dungeon by means of a menu system. Its all about working with other players, or by yourself if you choose, to smash through a variety of levels referred to as "instances" in MMO parlance. Once you start, Pocket Legends is a lot of fun. Buying slots for this extra character costs $0.99 each.

When you really think about it, Pocket Legends is a game that shouldnt exist. Like any MMORPG, the staples of Pocket Legends are multiplayer and combat. The game features some smart automation options, too.

Characters always look great, and enemies have lots of personality. Rather than exploring an open world, players will join instances that make up part of a bigger campaign. Pocket Legends offers one campaign for free, but charges a $1.99 for each additional. Pocket Legends really sets the standard for the freemium business model by mixing a tremendous of free play with some truly enticing pay content.

While it may still be a little lacking when compared to its desktop brethren, Pocket Legends is a monumental accomplishment in the world of mobile gaming. Not only is it a fun game thats well-executed, but its a brilliant proof of concept. Heres to hoping this opens the floodgates for future pocket MMOs. Pocket Legends is a Massive Multiplayer Online game that allows you to choose your character, pursue quests, upgrade your stats, and discover the Pocket Legends world with thousands of other players online!

Features:

Creating and modifying your character, exploring a massive online world with thousands (if not millions) of others playing at the same time, tweeking my Night Elf to have some completely epic gear on level 19. Trust me, Pocket Legends doesnt disappoint.

Okay, this game is great but is it free?

Yes, to download the game and explore the first two campaigns is completely free. This game has NO MONTHLY FEE. If you spend enough time playing this game, its worth it.

FREE TO PLAY
Pocket Legends is committed to a free to play experience where players may progress through the majority of content and even achieve the maximum experience and power level at no cost to you. Purchasing in game "Platinum" offers you the ability to generally save time on your progress or own unique items or equipment.

The also offers PvP games such as Arena and Capture The Flag. You can play those free with the game. Just note, you cant play any PvP games with over 50 items in your inventory!

iPhone 5 Release Date

Written By Drakor on Monday, February 7, 2011 | 8:08 AM

Update: Apple could be delaying the release of its unannounced generation iPhone from its typical summer debut to sometime in the fall due to the Verizon iPhone 4.

For the last four years, Apple has released a new version of the iPhone in June or July. Apple just announced the dates for the next WWDC. Apples current fiscal year ends on September 24. The reason Apple may be waiting to launch the iPhone 5 could be the Verizon iPhone 4, which it announced in January and launched in February. By delaying the iPhone 5?s launch, Apple can focus on acquiring new CDMA customers.

iPhone 5 Release Date? Although the Moscone Centers website officially lists the early June event name as a Corporate Meeting, this anonymous description is usually deployed by Moscone Center management to refer to Apple events.

Apples next iPhone is traditionally announced at each years WWDC event held at the Moscone Center sometime in June.

iPhone 5 Release Date
During the event, and especially during the event keynote, Apple announces new products including iPhone releases. There are evidences that Apple scheduled this years event (WWDC 2011) for June 5 to June 9 as there is an event scheduled for these days at Moscone West Convention Center with name Corporate Meeting.

HTC HD Mini is the mini version from HTC HD2. Most of the feature inside same with HD2, except the operating system, which use Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Professional and 600 MHz processor, smaller than HD2.

The OS is my most concern part, it still use WinMo 6.5.3, while one step above this version is the latest Windows Phone 7. But for people that regularly use WIndows Mobile phone, this might not be a problem, as the user interface should be familiar.

HTC HD Mini Specification:

iPhone vs Android vs Windows 7, Browser Fight

Written By Drakor on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 | 7:59 AM

Video comparison between Windows Phone 7, Microsoft's smartphone OS, running mobile Internet Explorer browser side by side against Android and iPhone. One advantage feature from Windows Phone 7 is background page loading (allow loading several pages at one time).

Note: The Windows Phone 7 tested on isn't a final production unit, nor is it final software, but when running side-by-side with a Nexus One and an iPhone 4, it fares pretty well. Tested by Smartphone site Pocketnow.

Apple white iPhone 4 unboxed photos and video. White iPhone 4 has been challenging for Apple to manufacture. It has already been delayed twice and there is no exact date on when it will be available. Hopefully, majority of the issues related to color and light leak are resolved by now so that we can get our hands on it sooner rather than later.

The RAGE game demo, iPhone 4 Best Game 2011

Written By Drakor on Monday, August 16, 2010 | 2:09 PM

The Rage, says to be best iPhone 4 game soon. Combine the Apple iPhone 4 with amazing first-person shooters game, the RAGE. It makes iPhone 4 one of the great gaming handheld. The RAGE itself is not available yet for now, but the demo has been uploaded to YouTube, it looks impressive though still on development stage.
the RAGE iPhone 4

And according to John Carmack, a co-founder of the id Software (the company standing behind the upcoming RAGE), the FPS-slash-racing game would feel just as comfortably running on an elderly iPhone 2G.

Check out the game demo here;
