News: Assassin's Creed: Revelations is an upcoming game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. A direct sequel to 2010's Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Revelations is the fourth main installment in the video game series. The latest issue of Game Informer (via NeoGAF) contained details on Assassins Creed: Revelations, the upcoming game revealed by Ubisoft.

The latest bits of news come from an interview with Andreane Meunier, Live Team Producer on Assassins Creed Revelations, and focuses on what new features fans can expect from the multiplayer of the next installment in the Assassins Creed franchise.

In the multiplayer component of Assassins Creed: Brotherhood players took on the role of Templars in training at Abstergo who had entered multiple animi, honing their assassin skills in order to prepare for battle with Desmond.

These various character types were popular with the Assassins Creed community, and Meunier told Game Informer that in Assassins Creed Revelations players will have more customization options to better tailor their characters appearance to their liking by costumizing the costumes and some of the minor features of the characters.

Players will be able to play as Ezio, Altair, and Desmond, the three main characters from the series, in certain sequences. Fortunately you can assign a Master Assassin to guard the structure or assign other assassins to defend it. The multiplayer mode will contain more of a storyline unlike Brotherhoods minimal setup. Assassins Creed: Revelations unearths in November on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

Ubisoft reveals the latest Assassin's Creed adventure, calling it, 'the final chapter in the Ezio Trilogy'

The fourth title in the hugely successful Assassin's Creed series is coming out in November. Subtitled 'Revelations', it is apparently the final instalment of the game to feature dashing renaissance assassin, Ezio, who arrived in Assassin's Creed 2 and took on the Borgia clan in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

While Brotherhoods multiplayer had what amounted to a premise in place of a story, Assassins Creed Revelations multiplayer will have an actual narrative to accompany it. Will the multiplayer feature maps from different time periods? Commenters translated the text as saying "Altar Ibn-La'Ahad," or "Altair, son of no one"--indicating the game could feature the original Assassin's Creed hero as its protagonist.

Additionally, an eagle-eyed NeoGAF poster did some digging and found a logo for "Assassin's Creed: Revelations."
