Blackberry Torch 9800 Slider, The First Blackberry with OS 6.0

This the first time Research in Motion (RIM) release Blackberry phone with Sliding concept (slider phone). Blackberry Torch 9800 became the first Blackberry slider phone that use Blackberry OS 6.0, recent trending topic. And this phone is RIM next breakthrough in cell phone market world


BlackBerry Torch 9800 Slider put the QWERTY keypad hidden in the back of it 3.2 inch phone display. The display resolution is 480x360 pixel (HVGA), makes the screen look bright and sharp.
Despite of the slider construction, this phone body does not look fat. Because the body thickness only 1.46 cm. 3G technology in Blackberry Torch combined with WiFi b/g/n port, making it easy to connect with internet.

Inside Torch 9800 there are Bluetooth and GPS in this slider phone. Further more, Blackberry Torch already built in with 5Mp camera, and support video recording up to VGA resolution (640x480 px). Also, complete camera feature inside, such as autofocus, flash light, photo stabilizer and etc.
Space for saving data in Blackberry Torch is big enough, where the capacity for memory storage is 4GB. Beside that, system memory is 512 MB, which claimed capable of faster data processing. If the internal memory is not enough, there are microSD slot expandable up to 32 GB. From the information we heard, Torch 9800 Slider will be bundled with 4GB memory card in the package.

For now, Blackberry Torch 9800 Slider only available exclusively for A&T operator starting August 12, 2010. The sale price is $199.99 with 2 years of contract.
