World Record on The Break: Beat Drum for 135-hours

Kunto Hartono, Indonesian drummer is on his way to breaking world record in beating drums, he now working on to achieve the target time, which is 135 hours. If he able to fulfill this target, his name will be writen in record history.

He performs his act in KAZA, one of the plaza in Surabaya. His performance use "Drumming Marathon 135-hour Guinness World records" as the theme. Start at 9pm (local time) with countdown from the audience.

Crowd audience is around the plaza, not affected by the live world cup match showing at the time.

As the countdown end, Kunto's drum stick starts the show. For the opening act, a rock song was the play. Wearing white shirt, Kunto with his full spirit beating his drum combined by guitar, bass and loud song from one of the supporting group bands.

The audience in KAZA shows their enthusiast to witnesses from the performers. The crowd took place from first to the second floor. Earlier before that, representative from local government give his speech about this incredible performance and world record breaking act.

"In the beginning I think this is a crazy idea, but after seeing Kunto's strong will, I believe he can do it. Not many young people had the capability to do such a thing," says by the representative.

To support this performance act, KAZA Plaza will operate 24 hours until July 3rd, 2010. On that date Kunto was scheduled to end his show. All the preparation has been done before the show date.

Behind the stage, a small room has been prepared. This room has one bed and medical check up tools to monitor Kunto's condition. A camera as the Guinness World Records requirement also keep spotting Kunto's act. And outside the plaza there's also have a big screen showing Kunto's act to the public.
