About The Twilight Saga: Eclipse - World Premiere:
There is only one way to get through this "Twilight Saga: Eclipse": you must have a high tolerance for corniness. One minute the Vampire says that he doesn't know what these "boxes" (meaning the cars) are, the next he delivers exactly the kind of car that the girl friend (his "master") wants. There isn't really a story, it's just a series of unrelated episodes. And the "culture shock" factor (the Vampire wakes up 200 years after his time) goes almost completely unexplored. But the movie has an essential good-heartedness that makes it likable. It is funny, has some good fist fights with the great Edward Cullen and is a fun film. Is this the Ziploc Bag guy playing the Vampire?
Anyway, this whole movie is like an LSD trip where bizarre stuff just happens to this really geeky female nerd, and she has this sullen blood sucker to help her out. All this, of course, amid truly horrible acting, special effects and dialogue. It's so good, though, it's funny. So buy it if you see it at a bargain basement bin. It'll only set you back 18 bucks anyway. Somebody save me from the Disney machine. This movie, to me, is nothing more than a piece of merchandise designed to milk the "Saga" franchise as far as it can go.
