Story: Green Lantern (2011) movie, follow closely to the first 3-4 issues of The Secret Origins of Super Heroes (2008) story. The film was a mixed lots of actions and story.

Review: Green Lanteern was extremely impressing movie. This film have a great special effects and decent acting. Though it's not as good as Batman: The Dark Knight or Spider-man, but it is an above average superhero movie. Ryan Reynolds is good as always and Mark Strong delivered a strong performance as well. This movie is heavy on special effects and they are impressing. The dialogue is okay but not too special. Overall, this movie was very well done.

Green Lantern Review
Plus points for the movie.
  1.  The special effects was blowing away by the audience.
  2. The overall story is great. Adaptation from the comic were acceptable.
  3. The movie is full action from beginning to end. The first 10-12 minutes absolutely action and continuing till the end.
  4. Ryan Reynolds is a fantastic Green Lantern.
  5. Mark Strong played great as Sinestro.
  6. The 3D is fantastic.
  7. The costume is nicely designed.
Minus
  1. Blake Lively (awful performance)
  2. The dialog is missing the strong point.
  3. The costume is great, but the mask and the eyes annoying me.
Cast:
Ryan Reynolds (Hal Jordan / Green Lantern)
Blake Lively (Carol Ferris)
Peter Sarsgaard (Hector Hammond)
Mark Strong (Sinestro)
Temuera Morrison (Abin Sur)

Verdict: Green Lantern is one of the best comic book movie of 2011. It introduces us to an amazing universe, has great supporting characters (minus Blake Lively), and leaves you wanting more with promises of that.

All in all this movie was a decent movie for everyone to enjoy. Don't come expecting X-Men 1st Class, or even Thor to the extent of character development, and you won't be disappointed. It doesn't take itself way too emotionally seriously as it should.
