Did you aware that on this 2010 South Africa World Cup has been set a new play rule, which is extra time without golden goal? Now that we have come to the knockout stages in the tournament, these are things to expect.

1. Tied score after 90 minutes of play, as usual two 15 minutes extra time will be given. The second 15 minutes play would not require if one team already leads the score.

2. No Golden goal in this World Cup, which mean that whichever team to score first will not win until they lead the 1st extra time or the 2nd. So, both teams will keep play during the extra time match.

3. If no teams lead the score after the two times of 15 minutes, penalty kicks will be held to determine the winner.
