Hirosima-Nagasaki The only Bombing witness dies

TOKYO | DNA - The only person officially recognized survivors of the atomic bomb in World War II in Japan died.

Tsutomu Yamaguchi died at the age of 93 years because of cancer flank. He working at Hiroshima city when the bomb attack, then returned to Nagasaki.

As the BBC reported Tsutomu Yamaguchi at the center of an explosion or ground zero when the two nuclear bombs were dropped.

On August 6, 1945 he was a business trip to Hiroshima when the B-29 owned by American bombs dropped in the city.

Around 140,000 people died, most killed instantly, but many were dying slowly.

Yamaguchi suffered burns severe enough and the next day returned to Nagasaki.

He was in Nagasaki when the two nuclear bombs the U.S. dropped to the city.

In the second blast in Japan, 70,000 people died but, again, Yamaguchi survived.
Official Recognition

Only a few people who know survivors of the bomb attacks.

But Yamaguchi was the only one that Jepang.Namun recognized by the government just last year the government gave special status in the list of people who survived the nuclear bomb.

The government argued against Yamaguchi compensation money will not change much with the status istimewapun status itu.Tanpa Yamaguchi is known around the world and is a frequent speaker who supports nuclear disarmament calls.

Nagasaki Mayor expresses a sense of grief with the death of Tsutomu Yamaguchi and said he lost valuable storyteller.
