Eastern Promises Review

Plot begins with a young woman with no identity who was pregnant and was rushed the hospital. In childbirth, the midwife managed to save her daughter but not with her mother. Then the baby was under the care of Anna Khitrova (Naomi Watts) in London hospital nurses.

Anna found a diary of the child's mother and a business card. Although Russian descent, she does not speak Russian, so he went to the address in the card to determine the origin of the baby's mother is poor.

But who would have thought, that brought her good intentions have fallen into the Russian mafia problems. Anna can then reveal who is the mother of these poor babies?

David Cronenberg movie filmed drama featuring a sadistic murders. In addition, there are some adult scenes are not worth viewing by minors.

In terms of story, 'Eastern Promises' gives a fairly interesting story though in the middle course of the film, sometimes boring because of the many dialogues of the deep. However, the puzzle behind the film is quite interesting because the plot is difficult to predict.

Meanwhile, in terms of characters, has no doubt for Naomi Watts and Viggo Mortensen in the role since has received many awards. They both look the total in a role in 'Eastern Promises'. This can be proved from the nominations and awards that this film got awards in various films.
